  Payment is expected at the time of consultation or if your pet has been hospitalised, then payment is due when collecting your pet to go home.

We accept cash and all major debit and credit cards, with the exception of American Express.

Unfortunately, from 1st January 2012 we are unable to accept cheques as a payment method.

If your pet is insured, you should bring your current policy with you to the practice and we can record all insurance details onto your pet?s record. You only pay the excess on any veterinary work carried out and we then make a direct claim to your insurance company.

Out of Hours Service:


Ayrton Veterinary Hospital provides its own Out of Hours Emergency Service.This service is based at the Hospital.
