As a child, Audrey loved being with animals and it seemed natural, therefore, that when she grew up she would make a career working with them.















Initially, Audrey obtained a place at Aberdeen University to study for a Degree in Zoology. It was whilst studying Zoology that she decided her love and desire to care for animals would be better served by becoming a Veterinary Nurse.















Audrey attended Edinburgh's Telford College, gaining her Certificate in Veterinary Nursing in 1992. After qualifying she worked for practices in both Swindon and Edinburgh, were she held the position of Head Veterinary Nurse, before joining Ayrton (Burnhouse) Veterinary Centre in 2000.

This year Audrey has hung up her nursing gloves and was appointed as 'Insurance Administrator' here at Ayrton. This is now a full-time role for Audrey in which she can concentrate on ensuring that our insurance service runs smoothly for all of our clients requiring help with claims and queries regarding their pet's insurance.























In her spare time, she enjoys being with her family, reading and generally relaxing at home.
