Sheila Teadley
Administrator
Sheila's working life has been spent in the business world. She has worked as Secretary to the Partners of Chartered Accountants in both Scotland and London; to Personnel Managers in the Motor and Transport Industries and as Departmental Secretary to the Professor of Occupational Therapy at Queen Margaret College University. Her last job was as Secretary to five Clinical Psychologists with the NHS in Edinburgh.
It was due to this wide experience, coupled with her knowledge of book-keeping and P.A.Y.E, that Tony & Gillian offered her a position with Ayrton (Burnhouse) Veterinary Centre. She was delighted to accept, and started the day the practice opened its doors for the first time on 8th March 1999.
At the beginning, Sheila worked full time as Receptionist and Book-keeper. However, as the practice increased in size, Sheila's role became more administrative and she now works mostly 'backstage', dealing with the day to day office administration procedures, monthly accounts and salaries.
In her free time, Sheila loves to be with her family. Her main interests are reading, embroidery and knitting.
